They dreamed a dream of performing in the West End and it has come true for Brit School graduate Shan Ako & the Royal Academy of Music’s Lily Kerhoas as they take on the roles of Eponine and Cosette alongside a star-studded cast in Les Misérables – The Staged Concert, running at London’s Gielgud Theatre from 10 August to 30 November 2019.

We knew the West End production of Les Misérables was moving to the Gielgud Theatre while the Queen’s was being refurbished but we couldn’t have predicted that the venue would be hosting the concert version of the ever-popualr musical and that the cast would feature Michael Ball (Javert), Alfie Boe (Jean Valjean), Carrie Hope Fletcher (Fantine) and Matt Lucas (Thénardier). Last night was the primetime broadcast of the 2017 Olivier Awards on ITV! Fans finally got to see for themselves the glitz and glamour of Sunday's star-studded event and watch their #StageFaves perform songs from nominated shows. There was an awful lot of fan love in particular for Gary Barlow, Amber Riley and Lin-Manuel Miranda, but they were far from being the only stars worthy of praise.
