Another Theatreland casualty of the coronavirus outbreak, this summer's London premiere of LOCAL HERO has been cancelled at the Old Vic Theatre.

If 2018 is year of the woman (and it is!), then it all seems to be coming together now. This September, there are a host of fantastic musicals with women right in the centre of the action. On 11 May 2018, London's Old Vic Theatre will celebrate its 200th birthday and they have announced an amazing bicentenary season which includes the world premiere of new musical SYLVIA. A co-production with ZooNation: The Kate Prince Company, SYLVIA uses dance, hip hop, soul and funk to shed new light on a remarkable story at the heart of the Suffragette movement.

The nominations for the 2017 #TonyAwards have finally been announced and two shows first seen in London have been nominated for major awards. The Magnificent MISS SAIGON and the glorious GROUNDHOG DAY have been nominated for Best Musical Revival and Best New Musical respectively. To top it all off, West End #StageFaves Andy Karl and Eva Noblezada have been nominated too. Both performers completed a West End run before jetting off to Broadway and we couldn't be more excited that such great British talent is being celebrated over on the Great White Way!
