Miss Saigon star Alistair Brammer is back in the West End and flying high with the news that he will be playing Fiyero in the hit musical Wicked at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre from 22 July 2019.
Michael McCabe, executive producer (UK) of Wicked, said: “We are delighted to welcome Alistair Brammer back to the West End following his great success on Broadway as Chris in Miss Saigon and we very much look forward to him joining the new cast of Wicked which will lead us into our fourteenth year in the West End.”
David Witts will play his final performances as Fiyero on Saturday 20 July 2019. Further casting to be announced.
Wicked, the ninth longest-running musical in West End history, has music and lyrics by multi award-winning Stephen Schwartz and is based on the novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire and adapted for the stage by Winnie Holzman. Musical staging is by Wayne Cilento and direction by Joe Mantello.
