Adam Lyons

Adam Lyons is ready to take the music world by storm! The 24-year-old is an accomplished singer/songwriter, professional dancer and actor who have been entertaining at festivals, theatres, and events across the world since he was a child. Adam moved to London when he was 18 to train at the prestigious London Studio Centre. After touring with them in the summer of 2013, he graduated from the jazz company, earning a BA Honors (Degree) in Theatre Dance plus the Tom Merrifield Award for “All Round Strong Performer/Most Likely to Succeed.”

His resume in the theatre and dance world continues to grow. He has appeared on both stage and screen from in events big and small. He is a currently performing on the UK/European tour of Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Some of his other accomplishments include: 

A 2-month stint at the world-famous Oxford Playhouse in their production of Robin Hood.  

Danced with Pop star Rita Ora at the Capital FM Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium

Joined Rita the following year for her 2015 summer festival tour. Stops include Radio 1 Big Weekend, Summertime Ball and the Wireless Festival.  

Adam appeared on various TV variety shows and corporate events.

Danced back-up for X-Factor finalist Rough Copy and for Kanye West at the 2015 Brit Awards

Resident dancer for Series 2 and 3 of the hit TV show The Voice: Ireland.  

Part of the Priscilla Queen of the Desert musical promo team where he performed at the Blackpool Illuminations Rock FM West-end Showcase and at a festival in Hamburg, Germany.

Performed at The Royal Albert Hall with Strictly Come Dancing stars Anton and Erin as one of the six world class ensemble dancers for their Christmas Cracker followed by the 2014 UK/Ireland Tour of 'Thats Entertainment'.

He currently plays the uk tour of dirty dancing- http://dirtydancingontour.com ensemble with cover moe pressman and cover tito suarez. 

Adam is known for his passionate, energetic, and down-to-earth personality which can be heard in his unique style of music. His sound is pop, but always up for a challenge, he dives head first into other sounds ranging from electronic to acoustic. Currently independent, Adam has distributed his music on various digital platforms including iTunes and Amazon. He worked in the music industry all over the World including Los Angeles, London, Germany, Capetown and Liverpool. His first single “Psycho” was released in January 2014 and was followed by a music video shot in Los Angeles by director Marc Cleary, who also works with Kat Graham.  

In the summer of 2014, he signed a publishing deal with label Munix Music of Germany and released “Echo” an EDM/Dance track produced by German producer Last Hit. A music video directed by Simon Barnum was shot in London and the track was featured on three dance albums along with the EP.  

The second single an R&B/Soul track titled “When it Rains” was released in September 2014. It was produced by German Producers Uplink. He wrapped up 2014 by releasing “The Covers Collection,” his first covers album, though with a unique twist.  

His long awaited album “Ice Cold” was released on 1st of July. Produced by Uplink, it is a mixture of various genres, and showcases Adam’s range as both a singer and songwriter.  A music video for the single “Ice Cold” was shot in LA and released on VEVO on the 16th of June. The album is available on various digital platforms.  

His single “Waiting” was released on 11th of February 2016 and produced by Uplink. Along with an Extended Mix, it was released on Sonic Art Music out of Germany. The song was lisenced by Sony Music for Club Sounds, Summer Live, Dance Charts, and most recently named “Hit Tip” by Future Trance.

His latest EP album Grown was released October 7th 2016 and clearly shows how much Adam has grown as an artist, singer, songwriter and person.

The single Sticks & Stones off said album describes  Adam's journey  and mindset working towards the new album. 

Without a doubt he Adam has music flowing through his veins. Whether it is in the studio or on stage, he pours his heart and soul into his work.  He incorporates dance into most of his live performances and works with various choreographers with his backup-dancers and team. He loves making people smile and looks forward to continuing to grow as an artist and perfect his craft.

Adam is currently in  Auckland, New Zealand with the international tour of Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical till the 14th of november
