NO MORE TEARS / ENOUGH IS ENOUGH Alison had the absolute pleasure of duetting with Kristin Chenoweth at the Royal Albert Hall - Saturday 12th July 2014 on this classic disco duet. The show was directed by Richard Jay Alexander with MD Mary Mitchell Campbell. Kristin had such grace, and even more than singing with her, it was a privilege to connect with her personally, talk about our faith, our relationships with our fathers. She is a diamond.
A few of Brucie's snippets from the six episodes of THE WINGIN' POM by Spitting Image.
With VERY little rehearsal under our belts, Shoshana and I performed a favourite Scott Alan song. Beautiful history with me and Shoshana connected by The Hot Mikado. It was quite emotional for us singing together. This stunning arrangement by Steve Sidwell was recorded at Abbey Road. Backing Vocals by Mary Carewe, Alison Jiear & Yona Dunsford. You can barely hear us, it's such a ghostly quality in the mix, but it was super cool to be involved in this.
Produced by Simon Brint, the theme tune to Lily Savage's Blankety Blanks was sung by Alison Jiear and Jason McDermid.
Working with Music Producer and arranger Shai Fishman on this was such a joy, let alone working with all the talented vocalists who brought this track to life. Not ONE musical instrument in sight. ALL vocals. So proud to sing the opening song on this epic commercial.
This stunning orchestral ballad version of Kylie's iconic dance track has been lovingly produced here by her long standing producer and arranger, Steve Anderson. One of my all time favourite days in the studio, layering up ghost-like vocal with Annie. Love love love this track and so proud to have my voice on it. NO INFRINGEMENT OF COPYRIGHT INTENDED

Rehearsing for Friday Night is Music Night at Alexandra Palace Theatre June 27th 2024. Singing the title song from the musical Sister Act by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater. Alison is currently playing the role of Sister Mary Patrick in the show at The Dominion Theatre. This is the first time I've ever performed this song, so still playing with where it lands vocally. It's always a unique task to focus on the vocal when you're so moved by the beautiful sound of the orchestra behind you. Bravo Tom! Bravo Ben and strings. With the BBC Orchestra, Conductor Stephen Bell. Orchestration Tom Voysey. Piano Ben Dawson. For my sister Helen, with love x

In loving memory of Burt Bacharach and the many beautiful songs he has gifted to generations of music lovers. I was blessed to record A HOUSE IS NOT A HOME with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Richard Balcombe as part of "The Music of Burt Bacharach" album I recorded with Graham Bickley, Mary Carewe and Sarah Lark. Let the Sun Light Shine/Feel the Love" feat. Alison Jiear from MY GAY WEDDING - THE MUSICAL Our Gay Wedding: The Musical was one of the first legal same-sex weddings in the United Kingdom, performed on the day that marriage equality was legalised, 29th March 2014. It was recorded and then aired on Channel 4 two days later. 8 years and three days later, I am still so proud to have been asked by the composers/grooms Benjamin Till and Nathan Taylor to perform at their wedding. It was such an emotional day.

Note from Ali "It was great to record one of my favourite songs from Godspell, and with the blessing of Stephen Schwartz, to make the track my own. It was great working out those changes with Stephen and to have his approval on our choices. For those who know IJFWD, you will clock a reference to it at the end of the song." In loving memory of Catherine Rosemary (Rosie) Linsley who died of breast cancer in 2008 aged 61. Composition - Adam Linsley : Lyrics - Alison Jiear In Adam's words, Rosie "was an amazing woman and inspired so many with her determination and strength of character. She had many hard knocks in life but never complained and never let things beat her." This track 'Rosie' started life as an instrumental for my new album - Locking Down. I played it to my good friend and all round legend Alison Jiear and she loved the tune & set about writing lyrics based on what I had shared about my dear Mum. The lyrics are beautiful and really capture her and my feelings perfectly. I loved it so much that it quickly found it's place on the album and I am blessed and grateful for that. Thank you dear Alison." Inspired by one of my favourite Aussie Christian bands "For King and Country", (my bro and I LOVE this band), I recorded this video on a very cold morning up in Bedfordshire and a freezing cold evening on the Old Town high street. Merry Christmas to you all, on this, the strangest of years. 2020 ... I will be glad to see the back of you, but I've learned so much, I continue to be grateful. Alison xx
Sunday December 20th, 2020. After going back into Tier 4 in England yesterday, I reached out to David and said :" We need to do that song." David, of course, said "Yes." That's the kind of incredible human being is. David shared his latest composition with me several weeks ago. Today felt like the right day to record it.
