Joshua Takacs studied at Birmingham conservatoire gaining his Bachelors of Music. He performed on Thomson Celebration and Marco Polo cruise ships, as a showteam member and soloist.
In 2012 Joshua toured the UK performing as Danny Zuko in a revue show 'Dancing Queen'. During this tour he performed at the Blackpool summer season at the Grand theatre. He has appeared on London based radio station ON.FM. This led to Josh being invited to act in the short film Awkward Meeting.
At the start of 2013, Joshua was invited and performed at a workshop for Barking Broadway Theatre in a new musical called Golden Heels. He performed along side Joe Longthorne and Roy Walker at Blackpool Opera House in Blackpool's Got Talent. Later on in the year he was asked to perform at the Kid 'n' Cancer Charity gala night at Chesterfield working with Mick Miller and Tina Malone. Joshua completed a contract onboard the P&O ship Pride of Hull as a show team member and also performing a solo uptempo Cabaret every other night. He then went on to be the Cruise director on both Pride of York and Pride of Brugges.
2014 he was appointed Cruise director and show team member of the Pride of Rotterdam then transferring onto the Island Escape as a Cruise Host and Cabaret Artist. Joshua then ended the year as Prince Paul in Duggie Chapman’s Pantomine Goldilocks and the three bears at Barrows Forum Theatre.
2015 Joshua joined the prestige 6 star cruise ships Silver Sea onboard the Silver Shadow the shows included an Opera Gala concert show, British invasion and his own Solo Cabaret. After this contract he was invited to perform at the Doncaster Little Theatre in his own Cabaret then in 2016 he teamed back up with Producers and directors JJ Almond and Chris Mellor to provide background songs and voiceover music for the Larry Grayson play ‘3 Days and 3 Minutes with Larry.’
Joshua finished 2016 by going back on Silver Sea onboard the Silver Wind after finishing this contract he toured the UK with the show ‘The Salute of the 70s’ staring as Donny Osmond, David Cassidy and John Travolta.
More Recently Joshua starred as Eugene in the UK Premiere of ‘Life Could Be A Dream’ in Romford at the Brookside Theatre.
