The awards season continues with news of the nominees for the 65th annual Evening Standard Theatre Awards on 24 November 2019 at the London Coliseum. Come From Away, Evita, Fiddler & Sweet Charity are up for Best Musical category while Anne-Marie Duff, Andy Nyman and Sheridan Smith are all nominated in the Best Musical Performance category.

First Michael Ball returns to Les Misérables to play Javert, now Jason Donovan will return to the London Palladium in the new production of Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to star as the Pharaoh, 28 years after he triumphed in the title role at the same theatre.
