Sometimes life as a performer can be go go go 100% all of the time and then all of a sudden you are free and its sometimes hard to know what to do! In this vlog i take you through a few typical days in my life recently including a casting for a commercial which started as a hysterical self tape but then I somehow got recalled. We also go to the workshop presentation of Midnight which is a new musical by Todrick Hall and then i start trying to prepare for my next musical theatre contract which I’m super duper excited about. This week I’m auditioning for an absolute bucket list show for me- Matilda The Musical!!! Join me in preparing for this audition and talking about the potential contract. I honestly cannot believe i got the opportunity to be seen for this show- a real pinch me moment. Hello lovely people! I am laughing at the dramatics of all of this from me and some of you will be screaming at your tv’s telling me i infact own too much lol. In my mind, the amount of stuff that i have had to either donate or say no to purchasing because of space over the years has been crazy. If i had the choice i would definitely have a lot more in my wardrobe. That being said, having this kind of capsule wardrobe feels really nice as i love every single piece that i have and will wear all of it. You’ll see that there’s a lot of focus on the more casual side of my collection as that’s what i wear 90% of the time and of course i wear all of that for work as well. Hello lovely people! Thanks for joining me for another vlog. This one is super special as we are surprising one of our best mates from Grease The Musical on his next adventure in the York Panto: Aladdin. We start by having the most glorious brunch and then i go shopping for a birthday present for my mum whilst the boys get our prank underway. Roxy Ballroom was the next stop where we had a blast playing both Duck Pin Bowling and a few different mini games of darts. Our lovely day ended with watching our gorgeous Saz up on stage performing and we had the best seats in the house! York Theatre Royal was absolutely gorgeous and we had the best time ever. Bring It On The Musical, starring Amber Davies and Olympian Louis Smith, was meant to spend Christmas at London's Southbank Centre as part of a UK-wide tour. It has now been postponed until 2021, along with four other Selladoor musicals.
Bring It On The Musical will play a London season at the Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall from 9 December 2020 to 10 January 2021, following a UK and Ireland tour which opens at the Birmingham Hippodrome on 2 June 2020.
