Luvo’s passion for music began in high school Kwa-komani Comprehensive school under Mrs.M.P.Mfundisi. He was also a part of the 2004 Tirisano National Youth Choir and went to the choir Olympics in Bremen, Germany. In 2007 he joined Isango Ensemble Theatre Company and toured with the company to London West End, Australia, Asia, Europe and America.
His roles with the Isango Ensemble include Papageno in The Magic Flute, Aesop in Aesop Fables, Theseus in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Colline (Xolile) in La boheme, Zuniga in Carmen, Zena in Man of Good hope. His work in Film include Colline (Xolile) in La boheme and Chronic in Noyes Fludde. In 2013 he joined Cape Town Opera’s production of Porgy and Bess in Barcelona and Madrid. He also performed the role of Papageno in CTO’s outreach programme of The Magic Flute in 2016. His other musical theatre credits include Tiger Bay the Musical.
