There’s a new Miss Hedge in town from 17 November 2019 when actress, singer and radio presenter Preeya Kalidas joins the West End cast of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, plus we are thrilled to see that Roy Haylock, best known as his drag alter ego Bianca Del Rio, will reprise the role of Hugo/Loco Chanelle from 9 December.

Rock on and on and on. After reviews like it got this week, it's no surprise that Andrew Lloyd Webber has extended West End booking for SCHOOL OF ROCK at the New London theatre...

We tried to limit our choices to just ten but we just couldn't, even after we separated out the kids' excellent tweets from the show account into a second blog. Opening night of SCHOOL OF ROCK just looked like too much fun. So here are top twenty (ish) tweets that encapsulate the night - from the cast and others working on the show, from celebs, from other punters in the audience and from the Lord himself, Andrew Lloyd Webber. These kids rule the school. They know how to stick it to the man. They can rock on all night... And so, on opening night, the official SCHOOL OF ROCK social media accounts were handed over to young 'band members' including Isabelle and Jobe, who did a phenomenal job spotting the celebs on the red carpet. Huge congrats to two #StageFaves ladies - Clare Burt and Rebecca Trehearn - who have won UK Theatre Awards today (9 October 2016) for FLOWERS FOR MRS HARRIS and SHOW BOAT, respectively. The two Sheffield Crucible-originated musicals scooped a total of four big gongs between them, including jointly winning Best Musical Production. Chichester Festival's HALF A SIXPENCE, about to open in the West End, went home empty-handed...

David Fynn is swapping his TV comedy roles in the likes of The Inbetweeners, Sherlock, Game of Thrones and Undateable to play Dewey Finn (a distant, fictional relation?) in the Broadway transfer of Andrew Lloyd Webber's SCHOOL OF ROCK. He's joined by a band of #StageFaves stalwarts and 39 child actor-musicians found after a nationwide search...
