The Wind In The Willows has been filmed and will be released online...

It may have finished its run in the West End, but now you'll have another chance to watch the London Palladium's StageFaves-studded production of THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS - on a screen instead! The show has been filmed live and is due to be released online and gasp possibly in cinemas and on TV in the near future!

Producers also hope to release it in cinemas and on TV at a future date.

The production, which ended its run at the London Palladium in September, is based on Kenneth Grahame’s novel.

It has a book by Julian Fellowes and music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe.

The filmed version stars Rufus Hound as Mr Toad, Simon Lipkin as Ratty, Craig Mather as Mole, Neil McDermott as Chief Weasel, Denise Welch as Mrs Otter, Gary Wilmot as Badger and the entire West End company.

THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS is produced for screen by Jamie Hendry, Austin Shaw and Gavin Kalin alongside executive producer BroadwayHD which will release the film on its online platform. It was directed for screen by Tim van Someren.

Hendry said: “I am delighted that our magnificent production has been captured in all its glory at the London Palladium. The Wind in the Willows has been a joy to produce and I’m so pleased that audiences around the world will be able to experience the adventure.”
