In the world of theatrical performers, Ramin Karimloo is known as one of the most formidable talents in the industry. Heralded for his portrayal of leading roles Jean Valjean in Les Mirerables and the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera, Karimloo is a musical force unlike any other. In fact, it was his unbridaled reputation that led to his performance in the recent Oscar tribute to Les Misérables.
Iranian-born, Canadian actor, singer Ramin is recognized as the favorite leading man to perform in London's West End Musical Theatre by whatsonstage.com. Ramin has played starring roles in both of the West End's longest running musicals; Jean Valjean, Enjolras and Marius in Les Misérables and the Phantom and Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera.
Ramin was hand picked by Andrew Lloyd Webber to portray the lead role in his sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies. He originated the role of Phantom in this sequel, a role that won him the prestigious Theatregoer’s Choice Award and the Broadwayworld.com award for Best Actor in a musical.
In 2011, Ramin played The Phantom for three performances alongside Love Never Dies co-star Sierra Boggess in the unique “25th Anniversary Production of The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall”, that was streamed live to cinemas across the world, providing an even larger stage for this theatrical superstar’s talent. Additionally, he performed the title song, Music Of The Night, during the Broadway 25th Anniversary of Phantom of the Opera.
Ramin also played the role of Enjolras in the “25th Anniversary Concert of Les Misérables” at The O2 Arena in London where it has been one of the most widely viewed shows in history.
His other musical theatre credits include Murder Ballad, Miss Saigon, Zorro - The Musical, Pirates of Penzance, Simply Barbara, Grease, Anything Goes and Bye Bye Birdie.

A cut version of this great song during our ‘Duets’ concert.
One of our favorite covers of this beautiful song.
Straight off the plane and we had a meeting about the songs and my name. Ha. Sound was hard to get in such a noise room (hence the in-ears) but you can get a glimpse of us putting the show together. Michael K Lee and myself had a blast together. Thanks Jaymes Kohnen for the video footage.

Was so much fun to try this with the band. Great having Jamie Kassa at more of our shows and gathering more content. More videos to come. It's always great to sing JRB songs. Love Bridges of Madison County too.

Backstage rehearsal at one of my Subculture shows when Sierra joined me up on stage. Was great to have Sierra part of the Broadgrass show. Apologies for the venue noise bleeding through, t'was a lovely and rowdy crowd.
Whilst in New York for some Broadgrass, I met up with The Phantom himself, Peter. We have some ideas for the future which we hope we can share with you soon but we ran through this with Sergio which ended up in one of the shows later that week. Bit of fun with a song we both love. I've always wanted to sing with Peter and I hope the ideas we have will happen sometime in the near future.
Performing the Canadian and American National Anthems at Yankee Stadium, May 18th, 2013
Here's a new song that I wrote and still developing. Great to add Coleman on this as we premiered this song in LA. I have a piano part in mind to add to this down the road sometime. Watch out for the Ghost that turns the light on mid song. Unbeknownst to me but the band clocked it.
