Perry O'Bree at Aspects of Love

Our #FirstNightTakeover series continues with Perry O’Bree attending the London opening of ASPECTS OF LOVE at the Southwark Playhouse which has transferred from Manchester’s Hope Mill Theatre. Dressed appropriately (you’ll see what we mean), Perry is wowed by the beautiful setting for Jonathan O'Boyle’s acclaimed chamber revival, the gorgeous score and the stunning performances. Plus he gets to chat with several of the cast including Jerome Pradon, Madalena Alberto, Felix Mosse, Kelly Price and Eleanor Walsh. Does love change everything? Read on and find out…

Thirty years since Andrew Lloyd Webber, Don Black and Charles Hart’s Aspects of Love premiered at London’s Prince of Wales Theatre, there is now a chance to see Jonathan O'Boyle’s stunningly beautiful stripped-back and intimate production. Original Manchester cast members reprising their roles in London are: Olivier Award nominees Kelly Price as Rose and Jerome Pradon as George, as well as Felix Mosse as Alex, Jack Churms as Jerome/ensemble, Jason Kajdi as Hugo, Julia J Nagle as Elizabeth/ensemble, Minal Patel as Marcel and Eleanor Walsh as Jenny/ensemble. They're joined by Madalena Alberto as Giulietta Trapani, and Eleanor Jackson.

Aspects of Love runs until 9 February 2019 at Southwark Playhouse, 77-85 Newington Causeway, London SE1 6BD, with performances Mondays to Saturdays at 7.30pm, matinees Tuesdays and Saturdays at 3pm. Tickets are priced £27.50 (concessions £22, previews £16). CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE!
