If there were ever any doubts that UK audiences wouldn’t embrace Lin-Manuel Miranda’s groundbreaking, award-winning musical HAMILTON they are quickly disappearing as another new booking period for the London production goes on sale on 4 June 2018 and the run extends to 30 March 2019.

The story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the very foundations of the America we know today. The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway – the story of America then, as told by America now.

Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote the book, music and lyrics for Hamilton which is directed by Thomas Kail and choreographed by Andy Blankenbuehler, with musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. The musical is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton.
