Beverley Knight is a British singer and actress whose musical theatre credits include The Drifters Girl (Garrick), Sweet Charity (Donmar Warehouse), Sylvia (Old Vic), Cats (The London Palladium); Memphis The Musical (Shaftesbury Theatre), for which she received an Olivier Award Nomination as Best Actress in a Musical and The Bodyguard (Dominion Theatre and Ed Mirvish Theatre, Toronto). Beverley has released eight studio albums, and her latest album ‘Soulsville’ was released in June 2016 and went straight into the UK Top 10. Additionally, she recently took part in ‘Songs from the Stage’ released in November 2017. She has won three MOBO Awards, been nominated for Best Female at the Brit Awards three times and for the Mercury Music Prize and was awarded an MBE by the Queen in 2007 for services to British music and charity.

Save the last dance for Beverley Knight because she will be starring as Faye Treadwell, the legendary manager of one of the world’s greatest vocal groups, The Drifters, in the world premiere of The Drifters Girl, opening for a short season at Newcastle Theatre Royal in September 2020 before transferring to London’s Garrick Theatre the following month.
A year and a day after Gillian Lynne DBE sadly passed away, ‘To Gillie, With Love’ will see stars of the world of dance, theatre, film and TV come together on 2 July 2019 at London’s Gillian Lynne Theatre, to show their admiration and thanks. Already in the line-up are Sierra Boggess, Ben Forster, Linzi Hateley, Ramin Karimloo, Beverley Knight and the New Adventures Company. A special evening is in store.
