Soho Cinders is revived at the Union Theatre

'Tis the season of Stiles & Drewe. As Half a Sixpence prepares to open in the West End and The Wind in the Willows tours the country, their earlier musical SOHO CINDERS, last seen at Soho Theatre in 2012, is revived Off-West End at the Union Theatre. And the full cast is now announced on #StageFaves...

Stiles and Drewe's updating of the Cinderella fairy tale to modern London is revived at London's Union Theatre for a limited season from 23 November to 22 December 2016, with a press night on 25 November.

When impoverished student Robbie becomes romantically involved with engaged Mayoral candidate James Prince, his lap-dancing step-sisters become the least of his problems! James and Robbie’s worlds collide forcing them to fight for their own fairy-tale ending in this hilarious, satirical twist on the classic Cinderella story.

The potent mix of politics, sex-scandals and true love come together in this contemporary musical with an infectious score that you’ll be humming long past the stroke of midnight.

SOHO CINDERS has music by George Stiles, lyrics by Anthony Drewe and a book by Anthony Drewe and Elliot Davis. The new Union Theatre production is directed by Will Keith, with choreography by Jo McShane, musical supervision by Joe Louis Robinson, musical direction by Sarah Morrison and lighting by Iain Dennis. It's produced by Sasha Regan for Union Productions

The cast features: Joshua Lewindon (as Robbie), Emily Deamer (Velcro), Lewis Asquith (James Prince), Chris Coleman (Lord Billingham), Michaela Stern (Clodagh), Natalie Harman (Dana), Samuel Haughton (William George) and Lowri Walton (Marilyn). They're joined by: Charis Murray, Chloe Polson-Davies, Harry Wright, Jade Bailey, Lance Collins, Luke Byrne, Matt Morris and Oliver Bingham.
