My my, what a lot of talent in one show! The full cast of MAMMA MIA! at the Novello Theatre has been announced and it includes a host of great #StageFaves. The new cast, some of whom have already been announced, will join the production from 12 June 2017. How could we resist going to see them?
Today, the London production of THE LION KING welcomes 11 new cast members from all over the world, including #StageFaves Janique Charles, Gary Jordan and Dominique Planter who take over the principal roles of ‘Nala’, ‘Zazu’ and ‘Shenzi’ respectively. Now in its 18th year, over 14 million people have seen Disney’s award-winning musical at the Lyceum Theatre and we can't wait to see the new cast in action.

Tom Holland may well be on his way to Hollywood heartthrob status as he takes on the lead role of Peter Parker in the new Spiderman film which will be released this summer, but musical theatre fans have loved him since he took on the role of Michael in BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL way back in 2008. Tom recently appeared on the American show Lip Sync Battle and used his screen time to remind us why he became a star in the first place with a toe-tapping intro "Singin' In The Rain" which quickly morphed into a rocking rendition of "Umbrella" which he performed...dressed as Rianna!
As their real-life counterparts gear up towards the snap election, a cast of highly electable #StageFaves are preparing to play the Parliamentarians in the Donmar Warehouse's premiere of Tom Deering and Hadley Fraser's new documentary musical with the impossibly long full title: The Public Administration and Constitution Affairs Committee Take Oral Evidence on Whitehall’s Relationship with Kids Company. Bob Dylan's 1963 song "Girl from the North Country", from his second studio album, provided inspiration for this world premiere new musical (or is it a play with music?) opening at the Old Vic Theatre this July. The nominations for the 2017 #TonyAwards have finally been announced and two shows first seen in London have been nominated for major awards. The Magnificent MISS SAIGON and the glorious GROUNDHOG DAY have been nominated for Best Musical Revival and Best New Musical respectively. To top it all off, West End #StageFaves Andy Karl and Eva Noblezada have been nominated too. Both performers completed a West End run before jetting off to Broadway and we couldn't be more excited that such great British talent is being celebrated over on the Great White Way! This year, 23 April wasn't just Shakespeare's birthday, it was also the #LondonMarathon! 40,000 brave runners took on the challenge of a lifetime and raised thousands of pounds for charity. Loads of #StageFaves took to the streets either to run or support their friends.
