It is 65 years since Eva Perón died so what better way to celebrate her legacy than by welcoming Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita back into the West End for 12 weeks this summer. Leading the cast are #StageFaves Emma Hatton and the Italian Gian Marco Schiaretti.

But thanks to Jamie Campbell, Firecracker Films, Michael Ball, Sheffield Theatres and Nica Burns, a new British musical by a new British theatre writing and directing team, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie opens at the Apollo Theatre on Wednesday 22 November 2017.

Emma Rice may be leaving her position as Artistic Director of The Globe next year, but she's still bringing a whole host of exciting new shows to the theatre in the time she has left! They have just announced the 2017 winter season in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, entitled "The Winter Selection". Opening the season will be ROMANTICS ANONYMOUS, a new musical directed by Emma Rice (who also wrote the book), with lyrics by Christopher Dimond and music by Michael Kooman, presented by special arrangement with Radio Mouse Entertainment. What do Bob Dylan and ABBA have in common? Well...they've both got 'jukebox' musicals! Bob Dylan's 1963 song "Girl from the North Country", from his second studio album, provided inspiration for this world premiere new musical (or is it a play with music?) opening at the Old Vic Theatre this July. We've got two fab songs for you from GIRL FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY (wonder how they came up with the title?!), sung by the cast, to whet your whistle. It certainly doesn't sound like MAMMA MIA!
