The new London stars of Hamilton

As HAMILTON goes into its second year at the Victoria Palace Theatre, some performers are staying put – including Jamael Westman in the lead role – while another original cast member, Sifiso Mazibuko, has won the vital part of Aaron Burr. New to the room where it happens are Allyson Ava-Brown as Angelica Schuyler, Dom Hartley-Harris as George Washington, Jon Robyns as King George & alternate Hamilton Karl Queensborough. Could all this swapping around give us the perfect excuse to see the show again?!

Jamael Westman continues as Alexander Hamilton, Tarinn Callender as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison, Rachelle Ann Go as Eliza Hamilton, Jason Pennycooke as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson and Cleve September as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton.

From 3 December 2018, original London cast members Sifiso Mazibuko will play the role of Aaron Burr and Courtney-Mae Briggs will play Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds. Also continuing are Jade Albertsen, Curtis Angus, Stephenson Ardern-Sodje, Johnny Bishop, Jack Butterworth, Kelly Downing, Leslie Garcia Bowman, Gregory Haney, Leah Hill, Barney Hudson, Waylon Jacobs, Aaron Lee Lambert, Phoebe Liberty, Sharon Rose, Alexzandra Sarmiento and Lindsey Tierney.

Joining the company are Allyson Ava-Brown as Angelica Schuyler, Dom Hartley-Harris as George Washington and Jon Robyns as King George. At certain performances, the role of Alexander Hamilton will be played by Karl Queensborough. They are joined by Robson Broad, Lisa Darnell, Joe Griffiths-Brown, Sinead Long, Emile Ruddock and Ellena Vincent. Between 17 December 2018 and 12 January 2019 the role of Alexander Hamilton will be played by Ash Hunter.

The show has book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire and is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton. The production is booking to 30 March 2019.
