The three girls who will join Emma Moore in the title role were put through their paces by Rebecca Thornhill (who plays Mrs Wormwood, Matilda's mum) in a ballroom dancing lesson! On Thursday 27 June, London’s West End showed an overwhelming display of support to the Mayor’s "London is Open" campaign. Over 30 theatres and shows collectively shared photos and videos on Twitter, encouraging visitors to come and experience the magic of London theatres.
