After forthcoming 2019 productions of I Do! I Do! and 42nd Street, Upstairs at the Gatehouse continues its string of Broadway revivals in 2020 with a brand-new production of Mary Rodgers' rarely seen fairy-tale musical comedy Once Upon a Mattress in March, starring Offies nominee Beth Burrows. Tickets will go on sale in late November/early December.

So when I planned my visits to two musicals I've been working on Featured Show campaigns for StageFaves, I couldn't resist taking my theatre-loving, octogenarian neighbour Dudley as my plus-one. There was so much love online for Joe Iconis’ Be More Chill score in 2018 that he creatives brought it back, first Off-Broadway and then for a run on the Great White Way. Now the show which boasts a Tony-nominated score is transferring to London’s The Other Palace, with the UK premiere production running from 12 February to 3 May 2020.
